BP & The Oil Catastrophe

It seems that the oil spill that occurred in the Gulf of Mexico is becoming worse every day. Around 18 million gallons have spilled out since the leakage started 4 weeks ago. BP has recently stated that they knew they were not prepared for this situation. They did not have the equipment, or right mind in which to handle the worst oil spill in U.S. history.

Who's to blame? The government? BP? Many people are accusing BP for letting this event occur. Killing animals and their environment is starting boycotts against their products. I feel the same way but not as far as blaming BP for this. In my opinion, the government is to blame. Why? Well, think about the authority the government has. THEY give orders to BP.
THEY direct and plan for BP.

BP is only doing their job. Like a computer, it does whatever I want it to do. BP is a huge manufacturer. Selling gasoline, creating roads and producing soda cans. So, in other words, it's very hard to boycott such a subtle producer.

Knowing that every hour, gallons are pouring out into the water, I only hope that this will some to and end soon.
